Theta Network is described as a decentralised cloud and blockchain platform for artificial intelligence, media, and entertainment. Its Edge Network distributes computing resources for activities such as AI workloads, video, rendering, and gaming. A separate Theta blockchain layer provides payments, rewards, smart contracts, and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
