Everything on this Site is general research and educational content. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice and is not tailored to anyone. The same ratings and methodology are published identically to every visitor; nothing here is personalized. See our Terms for the full disclaimer.

Methodology and its limitations

Ratings come from a transparent, rules-based framework that scores assets across weighted dimensions, applies disqualifiers, and assigns a grade and a green / yellow / red verdict. You can review the full methodology on the Framework page. Important limitations:

• The framework relies on assumptions, judgment, and third-party data that may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. For covered assets, on-chain DeFi metrics from DeFiLlama (chain TVL and 30-day fees) inform the Usage dimension through published bands and a fixed blend. These inputs are bounded and reproducible, and they ground the daily AI analyst's judgment, but refreshing them never changes a published verdict on its own; the verdict changes only when the daily AI re-score runs, and every change is logged to the Track Record.
• Scores are a simplified model of complex systems and can be wrong.
• Ratings can change as inputs, prices, or the methodology itself are updated.
• A rating is not a price prediction and does not account for your individual circumstances.

Holdings disclosure

Contributors to CryptoGrade LLC may personally hold some of the assets covered on the Site. To prevent conflicts of interest, the operator of this Site is excluded from the ratings, and we do not adjust a rating based on whether a contributor holds the asset. Holdings can change at any time and we are under no obligation to update this disclosure in real time.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on the Site may be affiliate or referral links, meaning we could earn a commission if you sign up or make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence a rating or where an asset appears in the framework.

No paid promotion / anti-touting

We do not accept payment to feature, rate, upgrade, or promote any asset, project, or token. We are not compensated by any project to publish a rating, and ratings are never for sale. If this ever changes for a specific piece of content, it will be clearly and conspicuously labeled.

Using the Site does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
