DeepBook is the native central limit order book infrastructure for the Sui blockchain. Its purpose is to provide a shared venue through which protocols can route decentralized trading activity using a common order-book design rather than separate application-specific markets. The protocol is organized around three stated primitives. Spot supports atomic order-book settlement within a single Sui transaction. Margin extends the shared-market model to leveraged positions, with opening, execution, and closing handled on-chain in one transaction and without an off-chain sequencer. Predict is designed for binary options with continuous strikes and on-chain settlement. DeepBook is associated with decentralized exchange, infrastructure, decentralized finance, derivatives, the Sui ecosystem, and governance. As a base-layer component, it is intended to serve as common market infrastructure for integrations across Sui, allowing connected protocols to access the same underlying order-book system.
